Comprehensive Command Inspection (CCI)

  • Conducted by the IGMC inspections Division in accordance with MCO 5040.6J

  • Inspects all major commands that possess a Commanding General's Inspection Program (CGIP)

  • Assesses all appropriate Critical or Required Evaluation (CoRE) functional areas

  • Typically conducted every third or fourth fiscal year (36-48 months)

  • A CCI will typically entail an inspection of the major command’s headquarters and

    • An inspection of a subordinate command recently inspected as part of the CGIP Conduct comparative analysis of results ​​​​

  • IGMC “inspects the inspector” by co-inspecting one subordinate command with CGIP inspectors for the purpose of assessing the effectiveness of the CGIP.

CCIs are typically conducted every third or fourth fiscal year (36-48 months).
