Born in West Branch, MI on 3 September 1982 and graduated from Whittemore-Prescott High School in 2001. He enlisted into the Marine Corps and reported to Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) San Diego in April 2003 and graduated recruit training in July 2003. Upon completion of Marine Combat Training, Private First Class Papple reported to Administration School, camp Johnson, North Carolina.
In November of 2003, upon completion of MOS school, Private First Class Papple reported to G-1 3D FSSG Okinawa Japan for duty. In December 2003 Private First Class Papple was meritoriously promoted to Lance Corporal.
In December 2005, Corporal Papple reported to Deputy Commandant for Manpower and Reserve Affairs as an administrative clerk.
In May 2007, Sergeant Papple reported to Recruiting Station Chicago to serve as an administrative clerk.
In April 2010, Sergeant Papple reported to 3D Assault Amphibian Battalion for duty to serve as an administrative clerk. In February 2011, Sergeant Papple was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant.
In April 2011, Staff Sergeant Papple reported to 1st Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company for duty to serve as an Administrative Chief. In June 2001, Staff Sergeant Papple Deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom 11.1 and 11.2.
In February 2013, Staff Sergeant Papple Reported to Manpower Management Division, Enlisted Assignments Branch to serve as an administrative clerk.
In July 2015, Staff Sergeant Papple Reported to Manpower Management Division to serve as the Branch Admin Chief and Administrative Assistant to the Director of Manpower Management Division. In November 2015, Staff Sergeant Papple was promoted to rank of Gunnery Sergeant.
In July 2017, Gunnery Sergeant Papple reported to Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay Hawaii to as the stations Administrative Chief.
In August 2020, Master Sergeant Papple executed orders to Manpower Management Division Enlisted Assignments Branch to serve as the Administrative Chief. In addition to the administrative duties, Master Sergeant Papple assumed the role of the 8999 monitor.
In June 2023, Master Sergeant Papple assumed the Duties as the Senior Enlisted Leader for Performance Branch. In July 2024, Master Sergeant Papple was promoted to the rank of Master Gunnery Sergeant.
Master Gunnery Sergeant Papple’s personal decorations include Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (2nd Award) and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (3rd Award).
